THE TPH PRINTING CARD

Your Quick Guide to Our Signature 7" × 10" Planner

Printing TPH Size for the first time? Follow this simple process from download to finished planner.

STEP 1 — START WITH YOUR TPH FILE

Open the original TPH 7" × 10" printable file included with your purchase.

Do not print from:

  • A screenshot

  • Product preview

  • Shopify product image

  • Social-media image

  • Saved thumbnail

Always use the original downloaded printable file.

TPH FILE → 7" × 10" FINISHED SIZE

STEP 2 — PREPARE YOUR PAPER

If your printer does not accept 7" × 10" paper directly, you may print the TPH page on a larger compatible sheet, such as US Letter 8.5" × 11", and trim it afterward.

Before printing, confirm that your printer can accommodate the paper you've selected.

8.5" × 11" PAPER → PRINT TPH PAGE → TRIM TO 7" × 10"

STEP 3 — CHECK YOUR SCALE

Open your print settings and look for:

Actual Size
or
100% Scale

Your finished TPH page needs to measure:

7" WIDE × 10" TALL

Be cautious with:

Fit to Page • Shrink to Fit • Scale to Fit

These settings can change the dimensions of your planner page.

STEP 4 — PRINT ONE TEST PAGE

Before printing your entire Room, Suite, or Penthouse, print one page only.

This is your TPH test page.

Check:

✓ Entire design printed
✓ Nothing important is cropped
✓ Page orientation is correct
✓ Colors look acceptable
✓ Margins look correct
✓ Design appears centered as intended

Do not print the entire collection until your test page passes inspection.

STEP 5 — TRIM YOUR PAGE

If you printed on larger paper, carefully trim the page to its final dimensions:

7" × 10"

You may use a:

  • Paper trimmer

  • Guillotine cutter

  • Craft knife with an appropriate cutting surface

  • Professional cutting service

Measure Twice. Cut Once.

After trimming, measure your page with a ruler.

It should measure approximately:

7 inches wide × 10 inches tall.

STEP 6 — PREPARE FOR DISC PUNCHING

The Paper Hotelz TPH planner system is designed as a disc-bound planner.

Our TPH 7" × 10" pages use:

10 MUSHROOM HOLES

Before punching:

✓ Make sure the page has already been trimmed to 7" × 10"
✓ Determine the correct punching side
✓ Align the page carefully
✓ Confirm your punch is set for 10 mushroom holes
✓ Test one page before punching the entire collection

TPH 7" × 10" → 10 MUSHROOM HOLES → DISC BOUND

STEP 7 — TEST YOUR PUNCHED PAGE

Place your first punched page onto your planner discs.

Check that:

  • All 10 mushroom holes align properly

  • The page sits straight

  • The page turns smoothly

  • The edge isn't too close to the discs

  • No important design elements were punched

  • The page can be removed and reinserted without tearing

If everything looks correct, continue punching the remaining pages.

STEP 8 — ASSEMBLE YOUR TPH PLANNER

Now you're ready for check-in.

Add your pages to your discs and arrange your planner using your preferred:

  • Covers

  • Dashboards

  • Dividers

  • Monthly pages

  • Weekly pages

  • Daily pages

  • Trackers

  • Worksheets

  • Notes

TPH GOLDEN RULE

Never print the entire collection until you've successfully printed, measured, trimmed, punched, and tested one page.

That single test page can prevent incorrect sizing, wasted ink, wasted paper, and an improperly punched planner.
